Labour is £62 an hour, charged in quarter hours, and quoted before anything is cut. The prices below are what those jobs actually take when nothing surprising happens; we ring you when something does.

Booking
How to book it in
Ring, do not email
01632 960 218, Tuesday to Friday. Two minutes on the phone usually settles whether a frame is worth repairing, and saves you a trip across town with a bicycle on the roof.
Bring the whole bicycle
Even for frame work. Half the alignment problems we are asked to fix turn out to be a bent hanger or a wheel dished wrong, which is forty minutes and not two hundred pounds.
Frames we will not repair
Carbon of any kind, aluminium where the failure is at a weld, and steel that has rusted through from the inside — which you can usually hear as grit when the frame is turned over. We will say so on the phone.
Guarantee
Brazed joints we make are guaranteed for the life of the frame against failure of the joint. Alignment is guaranteed for a year, crashes excepted. Wheels: one free re-true within three months.
